IT’S OFFICIAL: THE ancient Burger King/McDonald’s rivalry has been taken up a notch.
A Burger King location in Queens, New York dressed up as ‘the ghost of McDonald’s’ for Halloween – not the staff, the actual store itself.
The entire building was draped in white sheets, with eye holes cut over the Burger King signage.
The even changed the message on the marquee for the occasion:
BOOOOO. Just kidding. We still flame grill our burgers. Happy Halloween.
It appears the theme continued inside the store too – the boxes the burgers came in were also transformed into ‘ghosts’.
Burger King told Buzzfeed that staff at the Queens store decided to do it by themselves, so we probably shouldn’t expect so see these decorations anywhere else.
Still, everyone who has seen it is very impressed at the severity of the burn:
